Progressive Components (Wauconda, IL) has expanded its offering of injection mold standards with the addition of the Versa-Slide^® range of slide action components. Previously available from OMNI Mold Systems (Ellington, CT), Progressive purchased the product line from OMNI in January 2025.

Versa-Slides are kitted slide action units, pre-engineered and available off-the-shelf. Assembly units begin very small (¾” x ¾” x 1”) with a maximum size reaching nearly 10” in width, with optional machinable slide faces available.

The modular assembly speeds mold design, simplifies mold building, and makes mold maintenance more consistent and predictable.

Product features include:

• Grind stock is provided for final adjustments to the mold base.
• Assemblies are available in nine different series with travel ranges from ¼” to nearly 2”, and available in standard and high-temp versions.
• Optional Slide Faces are available for all series, ready for mold details.
• CAD geometry is available in multiple formats: SolidWorks, NX, VISI, Parasolid, ACIS, and IGES.
