AMBA Unveils 2025 Compensation Trends and Begins 2026 Industry Forecasting

INDIANAPOLIS, IN — The American Mold Builders Association (AMBA) has announced new benchmarking updates, including the release of its 2025 AMBA Wage and Salary Report and the launch of the 2026 Business Forecast Survey. Together, these resources offer mold manufacturers clear, data-driven insight into workforce compensation, operational performance and broader industry conditions.

Benchmarking continues to be a central value for AMBA members. Through annual analyses of wages, benefits, capacity, financial metrics and other key indicators, leaders gain a focused view of how their companies compare across the U.S. mold building sector. These reports turn real data into practical guidance that supports informed decisions and long-term profitability.

The 2025 AMBA Wage and Salary Report marks the fifteenth year of the association’s leading compensation study. Based on data from 88 mold manufacturers representing nearly 3,500 employees, the report details more than 50 job classifications and offers insight into cost-of-living adjustments, vacation practices, incentives, hiring expectations and workforce demographics. This year’s results show continued wage growth across the industry, with 37 of 53 tracked roles reporting year-over-year increases. The average gain of 1.4 percent reflects the current labor climate and reduced demand for workers in 2025. The report is now available for purchase at AMBA.org/Publications.

As AMBA releases new compensation data, it has also opened participation for the 2026 Business Forecast Survey. Each year, this study captures key indicators that shape the annual Business Forecast Report, including revenue changes, market diversification, quoting activity, capacity utilization, reshoring trends and other business metrics. Industry-wide participation ensures a complete picture of the U.S. mold building landscape. AMBA members will receive the final report at no cost and non-members may purchase it at a discounted rate.

Findings from the survey will be shared during AMBA’s 2026 State of the Industry Webinar on February 24, 2026. Mold manufacturers can complete the survey at AMBA.org/Events.
