Ullstrup to Retire from Superior Die Set, Yeomans to be VP of Sales and Marketing

Superior Die Set (SDS), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, a manufacturer of steel and aluminum products, has announced that Vice President of Sales and Marketing Mark Ullstrup has decided to retire. Rodney Yeomans, director of sales, will assume the VP role.

Ullstrup has been with Superior Die Set since 1981, spending his early days in mold base, moving to customer service manager and finally VP of sales. During his career, Ullstrup has contributed to the greater manufacturing community through various industry associations including time spent as a member on the Precision Metalforming Association board.

Rodney Yeomans has been promoted to take over the role of vice president of sales and marketing.

With a prominent career in manufacturing sales, Yeomans’ most notable experience comes from his time at Anchor Danly where he was responsible for leading their sales team in the Midwest. Yeomans has been in manufacturing and metal forming virtually his whole life. His father and grandfather both had die shops in Michigan which he worked in throughout high school and college. Yeomans has spent the last seven years working his way up at SDS starting as a sales manager, then regional sales manager where he invested time in building SDS’s dynamic sales team. The last three years, Yeomans has been serving as the company’s director of sales. In his downtime, he enjoys fitness through participating in triathlons and running and biking with his wife Kelly.
