Rockford, Illinois, based custom injection molding facility, Pyramid Plastics, will invest $2 million on equipment expansion through 2022. This investment will be laid out as a three-phase approach that includes the purchase of new injection molding presses, auxiliary equipment and an overhead crane. Pyramid Plastics, a division of Pyramid Molding Group, has been proliferating with growth plans over the past 3 years and will keeping forging on. Rounding out phase one is the installation of three brand new, top-of-the-line LS Mtron ONE series presses totaling over 2500 tonnage by the end of the year.
