AMBA News: April 2020

The Power of the AMBA Community

In this time of crisis, the AMBA community has stepped up more than ever to contribute and impact others. At Superior Die Set and BA Die Mold, that means producing components used to manufacture ventilators and other components for COVID-19 test kits. At Wepco Plastics Inc. and Concept Molds, it means pivoting to provide face shield components. At Accede Mold & Tool, leadership and community involvement are more important than ever, while MGS Mfg Group impacts the supply chain by producing packaging for new wipes and closures for hand sanitizers. Even partnerships have more impact than ever, as Die-Tech & Engineering and BICO Steel Service Centers come together to get an essential project done in less than just a couple of days.

How are you impacting the community? How have other members impacted the supply chain? How have connections to peers helped you manage the COVID-19 crisis? We want to know! Email Kym Conis at kconis@amba.org so that we can gather the other AMBA member stories and show the power of our community!

Upcoming Events – Continuing Conversations

Together, the AMBA community is stronger, which is why there’s not a more critical time than now for members to share knowledge, insight and solutions with their peers. With just an hour of time, members gain invaluable knowledge that continues to impact their bottom lines – knowledge that, in some cases, they didn’t even know they needed!

“Participating in roundtable discussions gives me access to incredible information that I didn’t think I would ever need to know or even think was an issue to consider. After one call, I was able to continue the conversation off-line with another member who had a question. We both gained valuable knowledge from that conversation. The connection and learning opportunities are endless.”
-Jim Sperber, Master Tool & Mold
